a balanced mind
Psychology & Yoga
In my therapeutic approach, I combine proven methods of cognitive behavioral therapy with elements from yoga, breathing, and meditation.
During my training as a cognitive behavioral therapist, I repeatedly noticed the limitations of simply talking about stressful situations, needs, and patterns.
It's easier for us to talk rationally about our issues, but we rarely get truly in touch with the feelings.
Fortunately, the so-called 3rd wave of behavior therapy has brought about expanded treatment approaches, and mindfulness- and acceptance-based methods have been introduced.

However, even these newer approaches often lack body integration. As we know from yoga, our emotions often manifest in specific areas of the body . This can range from simple stress reactions like stomach aches before an unpleasant situation to chronic tension in the back. In most cases, however, we are not consciously aware of how much our emotions also affect our bodies.
Therefore, I believe in a holistic understanding of mind and body and the integration of behavioral therapy approaches with yoga, breathwork, and meditation.
In my practice I offer psychotherapy and psychological coaching .
