In my therapeutic approach, I combine proven methods from cognitive behavioral therapy with elements of yoga, breathing and meditation.

During my training as a therapist of cognitive behavioral therapy I always notice the limits of “just talking” about stressful situations, needs and patterns.
It's easier for us to talk rationally about our issues, but we rarely really get to grips with them.
Fortunately, with the so-called 3rd wave of behavioral therapy, advanced treatment approaches have developed and Mindfulness and Acceptance based methods are now getting popular.

But even with these newer approaches, the integration of the body is oftentimes missing. As we know from yoga, our emotions are often stored in certain areas of the body. This can range from simple stress reactions such as stomach pain before an unpleasant situation to chronic tension in the back. In most cases, however, we don't even consciously notice how much our emotions manifest in our bodies.
That's why I believe in a holistic understanding of mind and body and in integrating behavioral therapy approaches with yoga, breathing and meditation.
I am currently offering NO psychotherapy. If you have serious psychiatric symptoms, I recommend psychotherapy with licensed colleagues.
